Whenever I try to launch the desktop VE, I get a JS error...
In Firefox: 'target.createSurface is not a function'
In Chrome: 'Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function'
In both cases it comes from ve.init.mw.Target.js, line 1312:
target.surface = target.createSurface( dmDoc );
The error doesn't happen in mobile VisualEditor.
