In versions 1.21 and previous versions MediaWiki:Loginprompt could be used to
add useful information to the login page and we were using this in all our
wikis in Moodle.
Starting with version 1.22 -> 1.23 this message is no longer displayed in the
new login page and we can not find a suitable replacement to add a message
there.
