The truth is we don't know because we never track read-only sessions month to
month. The safe bet here, if we want to ensure that *people who opt in* stay
logged in, is to lengthen the cookie expiry beyond 30 days. Keep in mind that
the change would only impact people who explicitly choose to be remembered. If
we were discussing a default login session length, I would probably agree that
we should err on the side of being more conservative.
