The code of that extension actually wasn't deleted, see
[[mw:Special:PrefixIndex/Extension:FileIndexer/]]
I don't know the exact history, but I can't see any harm in mediawikiwiki
admins such as myself releasing the code to interested parties if they make it
clear they are going to repair the security issues before using the code.
Having said all that, this is more an issue for [[mw:Project:Support desk]], so
I'm closing this bug.
