The title and implementation are unclear. If this can be retitled, I suggest "add page number parameter". As to implementation, it would be more like: <ref name="article1" page="2"> Editors keep asking for a page number parameter in Cite.php, but I have never seen a good description of where and how it should appear. If it is to appear inline, then it would be like the en.wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:R.
