Summary: add regular expression help to the Search and replace
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Vector Skin
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

The "Search and replace" dialog can search using regular expressions, which is
great, but many users don't know regexes at all and those who do may have
doubts about the precise syntax. There should be a link from the dialog to a
reference page that details the regular expression syntax which is relevant to
the user's browser. (I suppose that the employed regex syntax is the one in the
JS engine of the user's browser and maybe there are differences between the
engines; correct me if i'm wrong.)

This link should be added to all languages. Probably the target page will be
available only in English and maybe a few other common languages (French,
Russian, Japanese); English should probably the fallback for most languages if
a translation is not available. (If a translation is written, the link can be
updated.)
