Steps to reproduce:
1. go to some user page, click "Send email..." on the left
2. write some text
3. wait for a few hours so the session times out
4. click on send
There will be two usability bugs:
1. the form is reloaded without notifying the user in any way what happened.
Since there is usually no way to check whether the email has been sent (it
hasn't) this can be very confusing. (Clicking on "Send" again will normally
submit the form and send the email.)
2. the state of the "Send me a copy.." checkbox is forgotten.
