--- Comment #7 from Lupo <lupo.bugzi...@gmail.com> 2010-06-02 09:56:00 UTC --- Just FYI: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadget-HotCat.js has been updated recently and is used already at de.wikipedia.org (copy) and cs.wikipedia.org (hotlinked), and at de.wikiversity.org (also hotlinked). If you want to take this into core, the Commons version is probably the one to look at. Apart from the things mentioned originally, it also does multiple category changes, integrates the category tree (a bit awkwardly, but well...), and skips transcluded categories.
