This isn't really true: you can close the box. With the box open (and
movable), you can *see* the content on the page, but you still can't edit it.
When you've got a dialog box open, but all your typing ends up on the page
underneath the box, then we call that a bug.

The problem here is that (depending on the size of the box and the exact
location of your cursor when you open it), what you need to *see* on the page
might be covered up by the box. "Open box, realize that you've forgotten how
to spell something, realize that the box is covering up that word, close box,
check spelling, open box again, finally type" is not as efficient as "Open box,
drag it out of the way, start typing".
