I guess I should have clarified--the "new discussion" option is only available as part of the interface that pops up when you hit the "discussion" button on a mobile page. (Button: http://i.imgur.com/NFjaEbA.jpg and interface: http://i.imgur.com/ForyXTO.jpg -- apologies for the crappy cell phone photos; my Kindle Fire doesn't do screenshots!) The feature I'd like to see is a button on the actual mobile talk page (http://i.imgur.com/qDCJPVR). I avoid the discussion interface because it's just not useful to me--it only shows discussions it's deemed "active", which is no help to me if I want to look at all discussions to see if consensus has previously been reached on some issue. Plus, the discussion interface only allows you to view one section at a time. Because of that, I use the mobile talk page exclusively. It's just so annoying to go to the talk page, read it to find out if my issue's already been discussed, go back to the article, click the discussion interface button, and then click the "new discussion" button. It would be great if a "new discussion" option could be added to the actual talk page. Either that, or something I can add onto the URL to open up the new section interface. (Like how on non-mobile, you can change the "&action=edit" in a URL to "&action=edit§ion=new". If https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Turtle#editor/new or something like tha could lead me to the "new section" interface, I'd be fine with that as an alternative.) Thanks for taking the time to read this. I really appreciate it :) I know how trivial this must seem, but it really does impede my editing flow.
