Bug ID: 69653
Summary: VisualEditor: Pasting a link label causes the link to
                    split
           Product: VisualEditor
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: Editing Tools
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected], [email protected]
       Web browser: ---
   Mobile Platform: ---

What I started with was a link to a disambiguation page:

  Foo bar CML baz bat.

What I wanted was a link to a real article, so I repointed the link:

  Foo bar CML baz bat.

Hmm, that initialism doesn't appear to be expanded anywhere on the page. Okay,
what we need is:

Foo bar chronic myelogenous leukemia baz bat.

So I copied the long name out of the link tool's field, and pasted it into the
middle. It produced:

  Foo bar CMchronic myelogenous
leukemiaL baz bat.

None of this would have been so difficult if we could edit labels in the link
tool, in a separate box.
