Sorry, but I'm not sure whether it is bug or it is intentional feature...
On [[Special:Preferences]] (tab "Editing") when options "Show preview on first
edit" and "Show the difference between the latest accepted version and the
latest pending revision when editing pages" are enabled, during editing the
page there is not visible message "NOTICE: Some of the pending changes affect
the area of the page you are editing. (show those changes)", so I can't see
diff with pending changes.
The diff with pending changes is visible only when I have disabled option "Show
preview on first edit".
