            Bug ID: 70664
Summary: Stray character, __NOTOC__ incorrectly treated as part
                    of complex transclusion
           Product: Parsoid
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
       Web browser: ---
   Mobile Platform: ---

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=622971449&oldid=620207209 added a
stray character to the top of the page. The first two lines became:

Ǫ__NOTOC__
{{Infobox_Disease |

After this, it wasn't possible to change the table of contents setting, and it
wasn't possible to select the stray "Ǫ" to remove it in the normal way.
Instead, clicking on the stray character highlighted that line plus the
infobox. To edit it, you had to open the "template", where this was treated as
"Content" in a complex transclusion, rather than being unrelated text and
wikitext.
