Bug ID: 70726
Summary: VisualEditor: Saving produced a "Something went
wrong" generic error message, but it silently and
successfully saved the page
Product: VisualEditor
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Unprioritized
Component: General

User:Mike Christie made ten small (often single-character) edits to [[w:en:2002
Pacific typhoon season]] recently. Edits #1 and #3 produced a generic error of
"Something went wrong", and it appeared the save had failed.
In both cases, the save worked. The diffs are

and

None of the other, similar edits made to the article (including one in between
these two) produced any errors.
Mike usually edits in Chrome on Windows 7. I've seen the same behavior with a
generic "There was an error" message in Firefox on Mac OS 10.8.5, so it's
probably affecting everything.
