Summary: (hidden) link (on userpages) in a cite error is opened
by < instead of <
Product: MediaWiki extensions
Version: any
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Cite
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I caused (no, I found :-) a cite Error "No text for reference with name x". The
[[:de:MediaWiki:Cite error references no text|German errormessage]] includes a
hidden link to a service page (to be found by the linklist), when you use it in
the user namespace. Now this link exist in the database (it is found in the
linklist), but it isn't parsed correctly in the page. The usual <a href... -tag
is escaped to <a href... before it is written to the document!
Its not a big matter because you can't see it anyway, but might it be an error
to all wikilinks in these errormessages?
Another example can be found here:
[[:de:Benutzer:Netopyr#Einzelnachweise_.28mit_gewolltem_Referenzfehler.21.29]]
