But unfortunately I can not answer all because I am not a developer, like you, then I can only advise you. I propose placing a checkbox next to the simple edit link of the section and also propose putting a link to edit the selected sections to the top, perhaps making the "Edit" button a drop down menu that includes all options to edit a page. As for the edit screen look I propose you to maintain the current editing window, but by all sections appear in the window previously selected to edit and save them all at the same time.
