We should probably check first if there are any performance issues before just plunging on ahead, but that sounds good to me. The only other gitblit feature we use (and complain about a little, given its differences from GitHub®) is Markdown support for e.g. README.MD files; is that working? I can't find anything on phabricator.org and post-wipe there aren't any repos loaded into the test instance.
