Summary: Add Wikimedia Commons support to VLMC/libishare Product: mwEmbed Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Keywords: upstream Severity: enhancement Priority: Normal Component: General/Unknown AssignedTo: d...@ucsc.edu ReportedBy: hart...@videolan.org VideoLAN Movie Creator (VLMC) is still in its infancy, but it is being actively developed. One of the nice features they are working on, is libishare http://github.com/rohityadav/libishare This library will allow for easy publishing of your movie to Youtube and this will be part of the soon to be released VLMC 0.2 (and vimeo support is being worked on). Another goal of the library is allowing for integrated online clip search and importing. I think that the Wikimedia Commons community would be very interested in such functionality, especially since it is cross platform and can use full system cpu. By implementing Wikimedia Commons support in libishare, we might be able to generate even more video activity in the community, which is an important goal. We (or I) should probably look into it. Filing this in mwEmbed as the most relevant area from the WMF side. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
