If a sysop deleted a page, the page is still shown on Special:NewPages. If a
patroller see that page have a yellow background and want to patrol it, deleted
notice will be displayed. However, the page will still show on Special:NewPages
for 30 days and patroller cannot patrol it. Then, the patroller will check if
there any pages are unpatrolled. This is a obsession to the patroller. Please
fix it as soon as possible.
