stats.wikimedia.org has a lot of interesting statistics, but has no API
currently. The benefits of an API would be much easier access and distribution
of the data contained at stats.wikimedia.org. Pages like
http://stats.wikimedia.org/EN/TablesArticlesTotal.htm are currently nearly
indecipherable using a script.
