[[mw:Extension:NewUserMessage]] was installed and working on Arabic Wikipedia
(arwiki) (bug 15153) and Arabic Wikisource (bug 18194).
On arwiki, the account used to welcome users is

On 15 Februaury 2011, it stopped working on both wikis. Extension files exist
in both 1.16wmf4 and 1.17wmf1 branches.
