Summary: links to image pages aren't opened in firefox 4b
           Product: Wikimedia
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: General/Unknown
        AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org
        ReportedBy: sander...@gmail.com

The new beta version of firefox has a feature to open image links (links that
end on *.png, *.jpg ...) as a fullscreen popup window.

The result is that links to images in wikimedia are opened as images but are in
fact html pages.

Steps to reproduce:

1) In the current beta of firefox (4.0b11) go to e.g.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_%28operating_system%29
2) click on the screenshot or any other wikipedia thumbnail.
3) you recieve a fullscreen black window and an alert with the message "Cannot
load images!"

How can you open images? By copy pasting the link in the address bar or by
right clicking on the link and open it in a new tab.

I just report this, if it is the fault of firefox not holding to the html
standards, then this bug should be sent to firefox.
