           Summary: Suggestion for Wikipedia website
           Product: MediaWiki
           Version: wikimedia-deployment
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: Search
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

This is a small irritation, but it is annoying when using Wikipedia that
you have to manually place the cursor in the Search box when you open web page.
It seems it would be a simple matter to have it automatically there when you
open the website. A good example is www.merriam-webster.com. When you go to
that website to look up a word, the cursor is automatically in the Search box,
and you're ready to go.
