Bug #: 29500
Summary: Make the number of rateable categories configurable
Product: MediaWiki extensions
Version: any
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Unprioritized
Component: ArticleFeedback
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
Some people want to be able to configure the number of categories which are
used to rate a wikipage[1] and others mentioned that the default four
categories (Trustworthy, Objective, Complete, Well-written) are not very well
chosen.[2] Currently, those four categories are hardcoded in the extension's
code[3], so I'm opening this bug to request a good way to configure the
categories which will be available in a specific wiki.
If I understood correctly, the [[mw:Extension:ReaderFeedback]] has such a
feature, and maybe it can be used as basis.
