Attempts to run individual jobs after creation of the above stub files failed,
with the jobs exiting in the middle of the md5sum.
It turns out that md5sum, cp, wc -l etc of this file or of a copy of it, on an
nfs-mounted fileshare with the udp option set, where the server runs hardy and
the client runs lucid, fails every time. Opened bug report here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/808965
A copy of the file is in /home/ariel/incoming/ on fenari for testing if needed.
In the meantime, two of the three snapshots running lucid are now mounting the
filesystem with the tcp option set. When the third finishes the job it is
running, it will be updated also and the entry will go into puppet.
