Uploading large files like PDF presentations and ogg audio/video recordings can
be very frustrating, especially when on a flaky connection -- you don't know
how long your upload it going to take, and all we can show so far is a generic
spinner.
This is probably best implemented on top of chunked uploads with browsers
supporting FileAPI; the uploader will then know exactly how much it's pushed up
so far, so can show a progress bar easily.
