If I read the relevant part of the Unicode spec correctly it has to be expected that some software can't deal with reordered non-spacing marks [1]. Therefore it seems valid to not reorder them. I made the necessary change in pyfribidi [2] and mwlib [3]. The issue Brion raised originally should be fixed. I tested the following for correctness [4] I am closing this ticket now. Please open specific tickets for other issues.
