Hi, my suggestion is for the case of filing a new bug for an extension
<extension-name>:
I suggest to automate the assignment of a default value for the URL field
(populate with http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:<extension-name> ),
which appears to be possible for at least bugs of extensions.
Why ? Because one can only file an extension big in bugzilla if the extension
is in the SVN repo, as far as I know.
Optional, once: the "backlog" of old extensions bugs with no URL could be
filled by a script.
