The English Wikinews recently implemented the Google News Sitemap extension,
which provides a number of additional features, including a much better RSS
feed than the current feedburner one. Can this be changed, please?
It would require changing the following:
$wgSiteFeed['rss'] = "http://feeds.feedburner.com/WikinewsLatestNews"; (set
after bug 15080)
to:
$wgSiteFeed['rss'] =
"http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Special:NewsFeed&feed=rss&categories=Published¬categories=No%20publish|Archived|AutoArchived|disputed&namespace=0&count=30&hourcount=96&ordermethod=categoryadd&stablepages=only"
