--- Comment #3 from Ian Baker <[email protected]> 2011-08-30 23:56:18 UTC --- I spent some time on this today, and while testing, realized that this feature doesn't actually make sense. Now that the "remove" link works, I think the obvious UI for uploading a different file is to click remove, then click the button to add a new file. If you could replace the file later, after adding descriptive text, I could see wanting to support it to preserve the form input, but this is in the very first step. I can't actually imagine anyone expecting that a click on the filename will replace the file. A few users might stumble across it by accident, but I think it'll mostly just be confusing when people click by mistake. Personally, I'd expect clicking a file to view it larger, since that's what happens most other places. So, new proposal: don't fix this bug, and remove the link to re-select the file instead. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
