There is one checkbox per reference. This is a usability problem when there are
a large number of 20+ references (which is common).
The user must check a box beside each BibTeX reference they would like to
import.
Since BibTeX files often include a large number of references (20, 50, or
more), "select all" and "select none" checkboxes are needed.
