As the title indicates, please provide some way to get a random page of a book
on Wikibooks projects. The feature could be used to get a random chapter of a
book developed on Wikibooks, such as a random recipe from [[b:Cookbook]], or a
random animal from [[b:Wikijunior:Animal Alphabet]] or a random sonnet from
[[wikisource:Category:Sonnets]].
Even without fixing bug 15071, this would be possible if we had a way to
restrict the current [[Special:RandomPage]] to a specific category. Another
option is to use the list of chapters from a book created by [[Special:Book]]
from [[mw:Extension:Collection]], as in [[mw:Extension:BookManager]].
Since there are various options to fix this, I'm marking this as dependent on
(either of) the following bugs:
* Bug 15071: Wikibooks/Wikisource needs means to associate separate pages with
books
* Bug 25931: Review and enable RandomInCategory extension
* Bug 31003: Replace {{RANDOMCHAPTER:Optional book name}} by
[[Special:RandomChapter/Optional book name]]
