TASK DESCRIPTION
In my experience, all the chart views are very difficult to use, partially because of bugs (e. g. T150515 and T168341), but also because it’s very hard to understand what I need to do with the results to make the chart “guess” the right roles of the different result columns. Instead, we should make these things explicitly configurable:
- column for the 𝑥 axis
- column for the 𝑦 axis
- column for the “series”
- column for the “story”
- column to order by (currently = “series”)
- map columns to several 𝑦 values instead of requiring several result rows with different “series” values
