aude added a comment. then index the normal-ranked statement if it exists. if there are multiple populations that are all normal, then think you get multiple answers.
maybe if we do consider qualifiers, maybe can be somewhat smarter like see if they have dates and pick the most current. or better yet, leave that to the user of the query system to decide how to further filter if desired.
