Just for the record, the errors were:

To fix this, the following MediaWiki LB default config could be made adjustable (to use a null logger) by a maintenance-script argument (or by a config we would set for dump maintenance scripts):
MWLBFactory::applyDefaultConfig: 'replLogger' => LoggerFactory::getInstance( 'DBReplication' )
