CHANGES TO TASK DESCRIPTION
In T207169 we added eslint-plugin-compat to our eslint config, but that didn't catch all IE11 incompatibilities. We also discovered that wikimedia was in the process of updating their eslint configuration to ensure compatibility with IE11. This process is finished now (see [[ https://github.com/wikimedia/eslint-config-wikimedia/issues/113 | #113 ]]) and we should now update the eslint config in our projects to use the new mediawiki config. See their [[ https://github.com/wikimedia/eslint-config-wikimedia#wikimedia-eslint-config | README ]].
**Note:** While the patch has landed upstreamThere is no new a release yet, they didn't make a release yet and thus this ticket can't actually move forward right now 🚧😕but it should be come soon: https://github.com/wikimedia/eslint-config-wikimedia/issues/117
