I get the idea of server-side HTML rendering to avoid delays. But I am kinda questioning whether the advantage of splitting code outside of PHP into separate service and all the complexities that follow from that.
Maybe there's an easier way to achieve the same benefit - e.g. using some kind of template engine that exists in both JS and PHP, so we can be reasonably sure that if template is the same the output is the same? We're not talking Wikitext-class complexity here, we'd be controlling the templates and the box itself seems to be pretty basic HTML. So I wonder whether it's worth such complications just so it always be run in _javascript_...
