Okay, so the question that I have now been asked is "why we can't simply do a DNS re-route without changing the owner".
So, why can't we just point the A record to the right place and be done with that?
I guess this is questioning the below and figuring out why that has to happen / if it really does have to happen, what the policy is etc that is being followed.
