Manybubbles added a comment. Its all JVM code. Iirc that GPL apache incompatibility is something the apache foundation disputes but I'm not sure. If we accept that incompatibility then it must be apache licensed any way because it has tons of apache dependencies. It has some MIT and do whatever the fuck you want dependencies as well. Some of it's dependencies are dual licensed lgpl/something apache compatible.
Tinkerpop itself (the interface we're primarily targeting) is apache licensed. In fact it is joining the apache foundation later this month. All communication through MediaWiki is APIs so its OK there.
