Ah. I guess that doesn’t happen on Wikidata because we have `__NOEDITSECTION__` on our examples page. (Ergo, **workaround:** add `__NOEDITSECTION__` to your examples page.) Should be easy enough to fix on our end, though – I think the parse API has some “no edit links” parameter.
