@Michael After discussing with @Sarai-WMDE these are our points. The expected result you're mentioning on desktop is not what is currently happening. Pressing "enter" in the bridge does nothing, and in the VisualEditor creates a new line. in any case a submit key should never submit a form. only when the UI-button for submission is in focus, which is the way it currently works in the bridge. there are two options: 1. copy the behavior of the VE and create a new line on enter (mobile and desktop) 2. do nothing (current state) just copying Nr.1 for the sake of matching the behavior of VE even though i don't see the point because I think they're using the wrong widget doesn't make much sense to me so I would vote for going with option 2. which means we leave it as is.
