The purge is expected to happen automatically after publishing on the newly
created page. There is a proposal for doing it also for the source page
(T228893 <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T228893>), but the purging of the
target page should happen automatically already. If that's not the case, that
would be a regression. Can you confirm that the purge is not happening at all
after publishing, or whether there is any error message indicating why the
purging process may fail?
