Well, T128486: [Story] Make Special:EntityData be up to date after an edit <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T128486> was resolved, but it was solved by just disabling caching for Special:EntityData without a revision ID altogether… so we could switch back to loading entity data from there, but it wouldn’t really bring the performance benefit we had hoped for.
