We have created the Phabricator tag #language_codes <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/language_codes/> to track this (and other language code isuses), instead of using this unwieldy task. I have updated the instructions for requesting languages codes for monolingual text at Wikidata <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Help:Monolingual_text_languages#Getting_a_language_code_added>, and will add the instructions from this task to the project description.
