It's a shame that this has made its way into the "icebox" of the #platform_engineering_roadmap_decision_making <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/platform_engineering_roadmap_decision_making/> board. We (WMDE) are seemingly not in a place to make this decision ourselves and need collaboration from #techcom <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/techcom/> and I imagine #platform_engineering <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/platform_engineering/> on this matter.
