TASK DESCRIPTION
Currently, no documentation process exists apart from developers maintaining
in-code documentation. No standards nor responsibilities are set up on how
high-level documentation should be maintained and, in particular, who is
responsible for it. In the past, this anarchistic model proofed to be
inefficient as hardly anybody cared about the high-level documentation.
As documentation should not be compiled superficially, it would benefit from
dedicated responsibility. Wording, expressing concepts and maintaining diagrams
should not be left up to every single developer as that is triggers
carelessness, incomprehensibility and even conflicts.
In the same sense, the responsibility for formulating messages, in general,
should be clarified as well as it is obvious that messages compiled from the
technical perspective of developers may not result in suitable results
regarding the wording of user interface messages.
