TASK DESCRIPTION This ticket is to create a user survey for the WDQS UI to collect self-reported feedback from the users there about what their priorities are for getting information from Wikidata and/or using WDQS. This data will be used to determine how to scale WDQS , and/or other services to extract Wikidata information, in a way that is optimized for user needs and system reliability. The survey is accessible from the WDQS UI: https://query.wikidata.org/ Survey includes (3-7 are optional): [need to work with Rebecca Maung for survey best practices] 1. The survey asks users to rank 4 factors in order of importance: (i) data freshness, (ii) graph size, (iii) no timeouts, (iv) response time 2. Intentions: What best fits your primary goals in using WDQS? (can select multiple?) - academic - commercial re-use - improving wiki-projects and/or communities - personal - other 3. Follow up question -- data freshness: how recent does data need to be for queries? - freshest - <1 day - <1 week - >1 week 4. Follow up question -- graph size: which subgraphs do you NOT require? (can select multiple) - Truthy - Lexemes - Articles/papers - other 5. Follow up question -- response time: how long are you willing to wait for query results? - <1min - <1 hr - <1 day - >1 day 6. Other comments 7. Contact info for follow up **Open questions** - how long to collect data for? - can probably keep survey up indefinitely, but we should probably aim to analyze data after 1 month or X number of results (50? 100? 500? 1k?)
