The command that is trying to run and failing is

I can't help but notice that the `#` in your error message is the main class
that java is trying to load.
This looks wrong, and the only place that I can imagine a `#` is unexpectedly
appearing from in the command that gets run are the comments at the end of the
lines in the template env file.
