I changed the job queue run rate from 2 to 1 in LocalSettings just in case rates > 1 aren’t supported after all, sent 1000 requests to the wiki with curl, and the number of jobs went down from 3010 to… 2941. Is it possible that post-request job running just doesn’t work very well anymore? And nobody’s noticed it because most serious MediaWiki deployments use job runners?
