Background: Changing URLs without redirects might be acceptable for purely internal products. But at least some of our analytics tools are now outwards facing. So we need to make sure to do our best to keep URLs persistent or at least create redirects if we change stuff. For the future, I would strongly prefer us to find a solution that would allow us to keep URLs persistent even if we change technology.
